Ketogenic Diet For Weight Loss
This is going to be an interesting portion that we are moving into. Weight loss! And more importantly how the ketogenic diet will help to achieve that. We shall be having a brief on what exactly brings about weight loss, the more common principles for successful weight loss and also some useful, actionable tips at the end as well.
What Is Weight Loss
Weight loss is basically weight that you lose when your body undergoes a process of what the experts term as caloric deficiency. This can be achieved either by boosting your calories requirement through building of muscle mass whilst keeping your intake constant, or via calories restriction in the form of a diet where your daily calories intake is designed to be lesser than your daily requirement.
When your body finds itself in a state where calories input are lesser than what it needs for daily function, it will seek to get energy from stores of energy within your body. Most of the time these would be from the stores of glucose found in the liver as well as from your muscle. The other major energy store found in our body would be the fats that we carry on our frame. This is where the tricky part comes in. If your body isnât conditioned for burning fats, it will quickly use up the glucose stores and that is when the feeling of hunger will come in to potentially derail you from your weight loss mission.
